Development Credits Policy

This Development Credits Policy (“Policy”) governs the allocation, usage, and management of Development Credits (“Credits”) provided by AcumenSites (a brand of Acumen Technologies (SMC-PVT.) Limited, shall hereinafter be referred to as 'we,' 'us,' 'our,' or 'Company') to clients (“Client,” “you,” “your”) as part of our WaaS services.
By using Credits, you agree to be bound by this Policy in addition to our Terms of Service.
1. Allocation of Credits
1.1. Credits are allocated to you according to your subscription plan, as stated on our pricing page or in your service agreement.
1.2. Credits may be issued monthly, quarterly, biannually, or annually, depending on your plan.
1.3. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, resold, or exchanged for money or services outside the scope of this Policy.
2. Use of Credits
2.1. Credits can be redeemed for website development tasks as listed in our Development Credits Guide.
2.2. Each task has a predefined Credit cost. Requests that do not fall under a listed task will be assessed and assigned a Credit value before work begins.
2.3. Credits are deducted in full for each task requested, regardless of partial completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.4. Credits may only be used for development and content-related updates to the website(s) covered under your active subscription.
3. Request Submission and Processing
3.1. All Credit-based tasks must be requested via our designated support or request system.
3.2. Requests will be scheduled and completed within a reasonable timeframe, typically within [1-3 business day(s)], unless the request is large or requires third-party involvement.
3.3. We reserve the right to decline tasks that:
- Are outside the scope of our services
- Require software/hardware we do not support
- Violate applicable laws or our Terms of Service
4. Credit Expiry and Rollover
4.1. Credits expire if not used within the allocation period (monthly, quarterly, biannually or annually) and do not roll over to the next period unless otherwise specified in writing.
4.2. Expired Credits cannot be reinstated.
5. Additional Credits
5.1. If you exhaust your allocated Credits before the renewal period, you may purchase additional Credits at the then-current rates.
5.2. Purchased Credits are non-refundable and expire within one (1) month from the purchase date unless otherwise stated.
6. Limitations
6.1. Credits may not be used for:
- Full website rebuilds outside of plan limits
- Work on websites not hosted or maintained by us
- Custom software or applications unrelated to your site
- Urgent, after-hours, or rush work unless additional fees are paid
6.2. Certain requests may require additional charges if they exceed your plan’s technical limits.
7. Changes to Policy
7.1. This Development Credits Policy is effective as of August 09, 2025, and will remain in effect unless modified. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our support services after updates implies acceptance of the revised policy.
